About the Mobility Mentor Program

JobTrain’s Mobility Mentor Program is rooted in the belief that workforce development extends beyond initial job placement and should support long-term career advancement and economic mobility.

The program utilizes the EMPath Mobility Mentoring framework, which combines coaching, goal setting, participant-driven planning, and recognition strategies to support long-term advancement outcomes.

The model includes four core components:

Coaching for Economic Mobility

Economic Mobility Bridge®

The Economic Mobility Bridge® serves as a framework and assessment tool that helps participants identify goals and map pathways toward economic self-sufficiency.

Goal Setting

Participants lead the goal-setting process while mentors provide accountability, encouragement, support, and resource navigation.
